This was the BEST race experience of my life! ANYONE can accomplish this. River Crossing. Wet feet. Muddy feet. Loop 1 Summary! Fast and dry, tons of fun. Loop 2 Summary! Stormy, muddy. Dress change, 90+ minutes of thunder/lightning/rain. Loop 3 Summary! Quicker than expected. Motivated to see family at the main aid station! Motivated to get my pacer with me for the last marathon! Longgggg aid station stop to say hi to family. WORTH IT. Loop 4 Summary! Still somewhat “quick” and feel good. Runners high?? Running as much as I could. Sticking with the plan. Loop 5 Summary! Mistakes were made. Need to hold on and continue moving forward. Narrowly escaped tree falling at 2am. Feet in pain for final 9ish miles. Mount DOOM! Small headlamp crisis. 21 hours to finish!
