Today I’m talking with Nick Dunn Nick was one of the "Chennai Six," a group of British nationals who were arrested and imprisoned in India in 2013. They were working as security guards on a ship to combat piracy in the Indian Ocean when they were detained by Indian authorities on charges of possessing illegal firearms and ammunition. The men argued that the weapons were lawfully held for anti-piracy purposes. Today Nick talks about growing up, joining the Military, What happened in India, and life after his release. The case gained significant media attention and was controversial, with supporters arguing that the men were wrongly convicted and were victims of a miscarriage of justice. After a lengthy legal battle and international pressure, the men were eventually acquitted and released in 2017.
