Instead of doing the sensible option of just filming large piles of money burning to ash, Universal Pictures and Blumhouse instead chose to waste even more money and make The Exorcist: Believer! This $400 million mistake from director David Gordon Green ruins another classic horror film by essentially making the same movie you know and love again. Only this time it sucks! The Exorcist was about a possessed little girl, so this time around it’s about TWO possessed little girls! Ellen Burstyn’s return as Chris MacNeil is so short-lived; if you’ve seen the trailer, you’ve seen about 90% of her screen time.
