Episode 113: A Tall One, on the Rocks (National Barista Day)

from RE-VGM

When was the last time you’ve been to a cafe or bar and ordered your favorite beverage? I bet that beverage was hand crafted by someone who may know you like it done: double blended, extra syrup, on the rocks, shaken not stirred, and served with your favorite garnish. If you’re a returned patron, you may have a favorite barista who knows your preferences and take some time chew the fat with you. Today, on March 1st, we’re celebrating National Barista Day, in honor of those people behind the bar, who know how to create a drink that suits a customer’s mood, using a variety of machines and tools, and shaking and stirring with a labor of love and personal attention. On TwiX (Twitter / X), I posted a question, based on an article, on what video game character would making for an interesting barista. A couple of answers showed up, so we’ll be listening to tracks from video games that those characters originate, along with their covers and remixes. Enjoy these tracks along your favorite brew, loving made by your favorite barista…   10 Video Game Characters That Would Make Excellent Baristas   Discord channel     Track Listing “Main Title” – [Banjoo-Kazooie] – composed by Grant Kirkhope “Main Title (from “Banjo-Kazooie”)” – remixed by MaesterTed, from the album “Spiral Mountain: A Folk Tribute to Banjo-Kazooie” “The Nightmare Begins (Vincent’s Theme)” – [Final Fantasy VII] – composed by Nobuo Uematsu “FF7 The Nightmare Begins (Vincent’s Theme) Music Remake” – remixed by Enrico Deiana “Cat’s Tail Theme” – [Genshin Impact] – composed by Yu-Peng Chen “Diona – Cat’s Tail Tavern (for Genshin Impact)” – remixed by SeeNeBuch   YouTube playlist   Source
