Episode 113– The Guys get together to talk a frustrating Cavs week, Guardians questions, NBA storylines, college basketball championship week and their predictions for next week’s Oscar Awards

Here we go now … Episode 113! – Gerber, Danko and Chuck get together to sports talk and more in the Land. At home the guys start with another disheartening Cavs week and a concerning loss to the Celtics and a ho hum win over Detroit. The Guys also start tackling some of the big questions facing the 2023 Guardians and refuse to talk about the Browns. Next, the Guys head “On the Court” (26:20) for a lot of hoops talk. The Guys start in the NBA Western Conference and discuss Kevin Durant’s return and its potential playoff impact and the Lakers hopes without LeBron for a few weeks. The Guys also discuss the Eastern Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks (before Jimmy Haslam gets involved) and what tier the 76ers belong on in the conference power rankings. After all that, the Guys still find time to talk college basketball championship week and play conference championship speed round sponsored by Betstamp. Off the Field (42:49), the Guys look ahead to next week’s Oscar awards and do their best to predict winners in some of the more obscure categories and make their selection for best picture even though they really didn’t see many of those… Errors: Chuck referenced the Cavs needing to “dust off” Jeff Green. The Cavs don’t have a player named Jeff Green, they do have a guy named Danny Green. Chuck may have been referencing Jeff Green who plays for Denver Nuggets or Dr. Jeff Green in Fairmont, MN who strives to be a good listener and enjoys explaining the miracle that is the human body. Also, Gerber left “Everything Everywhere All at Once” off the Best Picture Nominee List. What a dummy.
