Episode 114: Coach Jay Blossom: (Former Head Boy's Basketball Coach Webster Groves High School, Webster Groves, Missouri)

Jay Blossom finished his 20th and last year as head varsity basketball coach at Webster Groves High School in 2019.  During his 20 years at the helm of the Statesmen Basketball program, he compiled a record of 447-122, won 17 consecutive conference championships, recorded 16 consecutive seasons of at least 20 victories (2nd all-time in Missouri history), won 8 district championships, appeared in 6 state quarterfinals, rattled off a state record streak of 83 consecutive conference victories from 2001-2013, won 53 consecutive home games from 2003-2008, (2nd all-time in Missouri history), and won the 2008, 2017 and 2018 Missouri Class 5 State Championships!  Blossom retired with a career record of 508-193 in 25 seasons as a head coach. @CoachBlossom [email protected]
