Episode 118 : "Working in a nursing home, USA made, and how Hank changed everything"

from Hungry for More : an Epicurean's Dilemma · host trish glose

This week, Trish talks to Eric Shannon, creator and owner of Big Barker, "real beds for big dogs." Eric talks about growing up Lansdale, Pennsylvania, how he was absolutely terrified of dogs, but then how one very special dog changed it all for him. Shannon started in the pet supply business, but increasingly became more interested in beds, mostly because he couldn't find a good one for him. When he started in that field, he says research, talking to customers, and the drive to make the best dog bed possible pushed him to start Big Barker.
