Episode 13: The Tuesday Podcast 6-6-17 [Season 1,Episode 10]

The last four episodes of the season I wanted to branch out and try some different things. Episode 10 is more of a downtempo vibe with a little bit of R&B, Electronic music and a few other throwback jams and even some neo soul. Some tracks I mixed together and some I blended the keys. Long before I owned turntables or a controller, I would blend tracks together based on key signatures and drum patterns. I recorded on the Pioneer DDJ-SZ again with some different placement on my midrange speakers and subs. I remember watching a vlog of Laidback Luke where he talks about it's good to practice with all types of setups and arrangements because when you play at a club or festival it might be totally different than your home studio or club! All my podcasts are practice sessions. To become a great Dj, practice is essential along with stretching your comfort zone.
