This site is designed to promote a healthy approach to dealing with the effects of PTSD and other behavioral health related conditions, as well as provide resources locally and beyond.Equine Valor Project's mission is to provide services to military personnel and veterans through Equine Activity and Therapy programs that are tailored to address specific issues faced by wounded and military personnel combating PTSD, while also providing a supportive and therapeutic environment for their families and loved ones.Our goal is to assist military veterans using current therapies, with future aspirations of additional activities such as sports and recreational riding, trail riding, camping and community outreach. Funding through donations and grant support will allow for us to provide the additional services. Lessons and service are currently through individual and group lessons which provide innovative, recreational and therapeutic activities using the horse.
