Episode #139: Wake-Up Call

from Tea Time w/Amie & Bev · host Amie Wade

Intuition, which is our inner compass or gut feeling, can often be a source of guidance for us when making major life decisions. It's easy to get swept up in the momentum of the everyday and forget to check in with yourself and the subtle messages that are encouraging you to make a change.Although sometimes it can feel hard to hear these intuitive calls, tuning into your intuition is invaluable because it helps you assess whether something aligns with who you truly are. If a decision feels off despite logical reasoning being behind it, there’s usually an intuitive message trying to guide you away from that situation. It’s important to stay present and mindful of these gentle nudges as they may come up more subtly than we think. Those subtle messages could be “warning signs” as well giving you the insight that “if you continue this path (blank) will happen” – which means, you may end up experiencing a situation that doesn’t turn out so well for you.Sometimes we need a wake-up call or sign in order to make better or different decisions. It can be hard to realize how much potential is within us, or how far off course we have gone if we don't take stock of our lives every now and again. These moments can be difficult and overwhelming at first, but their importance cannot be understated. They provide unique glimpses into the potential for growth and give us opportunities to pivot our lives in more fulfilling directions.Intuition is like our own internal GPS system, constantly sending us signals about what better route we could take in life. Let's start paying attention and trusting these signals so that we honor our true self instead of acting on autopilot for too long!If you find yourself questioning the route your life has taken recently, take a moment to stop and reflect on what brought you here in the first place. It might just be time for a wake-up call of your very own!
