Welcome to #BeerFestFridays! In this episode of Beerfest Friday’s the guys welcome special guest Luis Suarez of Old Deck Brewing. Luis was home-brewing and people kept asking for more Faded brew. Through grassroots efforts hooked up with Tank Brewing to use their facilities. Turns out brewing large batches was a lot different but led to Faded being a fixture in places like Finka Table and Tap and Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza. IPA — a “Southeast-style” IPA, hazy with citrus, mango and papaya flavors and an IPA Jorge actually liked! I saw him pour a second cup 😳 El Puro — is a 12% barleywine brewed in collaboration with @focalbeercafe Very balanced and surprisingly drinkable and dangerous at 12% ABV 🥴 We also talked CrossFit with coach Ivan and how the previous episode with Danny provided some food for thought and ideas on how they can step up their game at Revival Athletic Academy.
