Episode 140: Fanatic (The Last Horror Film)

This week we finally got back to our regular format where we watched a cheesy, campy, sometimes forgotten slasher movie and we're going to break it down. We took on 1982's "Fanatic: The Last Horror Film." The story centers around Vinny Durand, a fan obsessed with a horror starlet Jana Bates. He's an aspiring director and he's got the perfect film for Jana. But he's a nobody. So Vinny gets to Cannes Film Festival in France to try and pitch his movie to Jana. Only he discovers he has to go through agents and producers, and Jana's ex-husband Bret. And people start getting killed left and right.
