Episode 141: Sonic & Knuckles

Today, we’re celebrating the release on Sonic & Knuckles for the SEGA Genesis on this date, October 18, 1994. This was a special game because 1) it was developed alongside Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and 2) the cartridge contained a special lock-on technology so that other Sonic games and those made before Sonic & Knuckles can be inserted for added gameplay and value. We’ll be listening to tracks from all the Act 1 Zones, with the exception of the Lava Reef Zone in which it’ll be both Acts. There will also be covers and remixes to follow each track.
