Benedict Maria, OSB (Order of St. Benedict) is a professed monk of Portsmouth Abbey, Rhode Island. Br. Benedict, originally from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in India, is a professional engineer. He came to the United States after completing his studies to pursue work, following which he found his calling to be a monk of the Order of St. Benedict.
