Episode 152: Being Vulnerable

from All Things Marriage with Dr. Chavonne · host Dr. Chavonne Perotte: Transformational coach, author, and speaker.

Vulnerability is one of the most important skills to develop in order to have a deep and meaningful connection with your spouse. The more vulnerable you are, the more you allow them to truly see, understand and accept you. Yet, there are so many factors AGAINST us being vulnerable in marriage. In this podcast episode I talk about why it's hard to be vulnerable, how to overcome those challenges, and offer some initial questions and steps to take in order to create more vulnerability in your marriage.Being vulnerable start first with being honest, loving, and compassionate with yourself. When you are able to do this, you can be more vulnerable with less fear. I also share vulnerably from my own heart something I am working on in my own life that I hope allows you to see just how human we ALL are. If you are wanting a deeper connection in your marriage, where your conversations go beyond surface level topics, I invite you to consider working with me in one of my coaching programs.
