In Oslo, Norway. 1995. A woman checked into the city’s most prestigious hotel, the Oslo Plaza Hotel, under the name Jennifer Fairgate. No ID. No credit card. Three days later, a gunshot was heard from behind a locked hotel room door on the 28th floor. Inside, police find her body. Alone. No signs of struggle. No identification. No personal belongings. Even the labels on her clothes were removed. She’s dressed in all black with heels on.  There was a powerful handgun in her grip held in a way that doesn’t make sense.  And somehow NO ONE knows who she is. The name she gave? Fake. The address? Fake. Fingerprints? No matches, even through Interpol. But that’s not all. She had 34 rounds of ammunition. A dive watch used by European special forces. And a 20-hour gap where she vanished completely before returning to her room at the hotel. Had she truly been alone?
