Episode 160 Being Real about Parenting

In the next episode of being real, Hails and Dusty join me to chat all about being a parent! I love the contrast between being a mom and dad and I love that they both see the struggles and wins of both sides. While moms get scrutinized about certain things that dads don’t, Dads usually don’t have the same connection or time with their kids and scrutinized over that unlike most moms. A lot of silly scrutinizing we see here! No one gave anyone the handbook to being a parent. Heck each kid is even different! Can’t be crazy hard on yourself but at the same time, you have to be evolving and growing and healing as adult to lead by example. It’s not showing your kids you are perfect. It’s showing them you are real so they are safe to be real too. Parenting is almost like healing with your littlest favourite human. Enjoying. Healing. Growing. Evolving. Drop the parental guilt and shame and evaluate where you can elevate yourself so it elevates your family instead 🩷 Parents are their kids first and most important relationship 🫶🏻 you guys know what’s best for them!
