Kara was just 15 years old when she was taken from the front yard of her best friend's house in June of 2002. Without giving away too many spoilers- you really have to hear this remarkable story- Kara showed incredible mental strength and courage, and came up with a plan to escape. In doing so, she not only escaped a serial killer, but brought justice to his past victims, and saved countless young women from the same future fate.
