Episode 18: Traprock RunsaMuck to Boston

from Cultra Trail Running · host Art Byram

This show features all six of the Cultra crew as we discuss the happenings of this past weekend as Jimmy somehow works pooping into every conversation. We go over the Boston Marathon, Becky's time at the Runamuck 50k, and Brian and Stacey's first run as RD's at the Traprock 50k where Jimmy crushed it, Art participated, and the Legend rocked an aid station. The CULTRA trail running podcast is a place where we can get together and discuss all the fun shit that happens on the trails, that most normal people don't care about. CULTRA's headquarters is located in the belly of the beast coast, Glastonbury Connecticut, so most of our stories involve North East Trail running or North East Trail runners.  The language used in this show is explicit and raw like the trails we run on, so don't listen to this with your kids. Each episode is a reminder that no day—or conversation—is ever ordinary in our little corner of the world. XOXO, Fern Girlz Explicit Tales From The Rabbit Hole Mick West Tales from the Rabbit Hole is an interview-style podcast focusing on people whose lives have been affected by the conspiracy theory rabbit hole. Guests will include both former and current believers in a variety of conspiracy theories, as well as debunkers, skeptics, and the investigators of those theories. I’m Mick West, a debunker. I wrote the book Escaping the Rabbit Hole – How to Debunk Conspiracy Theories using Facts, Logic, and Respect. This book came from my experiences running Metabunk – a debunking forum. Over the years I realized simply presenting corrections to people is not enough. We need effective communication, and we can’t do that if we don’t listen to and talk with each other. I’m hoping this podcast will help bridge that gap. Explicit Nerd on the Street Kaori Akari and Jason Rayn Welcome to our block! Explicit Running In Slow Motion with Sidney & Tamra Smith You Hear Good Things podcast network Comedian Sidney Smith and his wife Tamra — a sharp-witted educator with a soft spot for flowers — team up to navigate life, goals, and culture at their own hilarious, at times, in-depth pace. They call it “running in slow motion,” and that pretty much sums up the vibe. This isn’t a marriage podcast (their union ranks a generous 5 out of 10, after all), but it is a refreshingly honest, smart, and funny take on relationships, ambition, and everyday chaos. From real talk to pop culture and unexpected interviews, it’s a joyride of relatable moments and laugh-out-loud observations. Explicit
