It might be time to invite a little ritual into your routine! In this week’s episode, Jim and Katie discuss the differences between routine (things we repeat) and ritual (things we do) both magically and in making. Jim and Katie also nerd out about how circles are everywhere and make up everything! Think of the iconic knights of the round table, magic circles, even cakes of yarn are wound from a circular hank to a circular cake or ball of yarn which is made up of tubular yarn and fibers! A circle removes hierarchy and promotes a natural balance where everything/one is seen or heard. What comes to mind when you think of the magic of a circle? Katie and Jim also dish about the pros and cons of being involved in social or 'work’ groups. How can someone move on from feeling overwhelmed by bad past experiences? Jim has examples from his coven! Jim also reveals to Katie Forest Jones’ ‘What is a Coven’ which outlines the specifics of what is and isn’t part of being involved in a coven.
