In this episode, Ben and Scott give a wrap up of their visit to LA, and an interview with LA Shopify Guru, Leah, recorded in the LA Shopify store. Contact The Cut today, we're here to help. Travelling up to Toronto for Unite 2019, the global Shopify conference, Ben and Scott broke the journey with 2 nights in LA. They attended an LA Shopify networking event, took a look around the Peterson Automotive Museum and then Uber'd across downtown LA to the new Shopify Store. There, they spoke with Shopify Guru Leah, and hit her up for a few minutes to talk about the store and what happens there. In short, it provides a support and learning space for merchants, and they hold regular events and presentations, as well as displaying the full and brand new range of upgraded Shopify Point Of Sale products and new tech. From there, the dynamic duo met with the founder of Tap Cart, Sina Mobasser, in their brand new Santa Monica offices. Tap Cart technology enables Shopify merchants to turn their websites into native apps for Apple and Android devices. We hope to get Sina onto our podcast sometime soon.
