Today’s Guest Dr. Bhanote is a triple board certified physician with expertise in Integrative Medicine and Anatomic/Clinical Pathology. Known as a health and wellness expert, she has been featured in publications such as in “Shape magazine,” “Mind Body Green,” “Martha Stewart Living,” “Popsugar,” “Bustle,” “Healthcentral,” “Insider,” “Prevention magazine,” and “Healthline,” amongst others. Always fascinated by the human body, she has spent the last two decades looking at how all systems in our body affect each other both on a cellular and global level, how disease manifests, and what we can and cannot control. With additional training and certifications in Culinary Medicine, Meditation, Ayurveda, Plant Based Nutrition, and Yoga Medicine, she applies a whole body approach to healing. Her interests include nutrition and the microbiome, the role of stress and inflammation in disease manifestation, applying mindfulness as a lifestyle practice, cancer prevention and survivorship, and improving the health of wellness of individuals through practice, education and research. Her mission is to support an integrative approach to well-being, health and happiness by empowering individuals with a framework for an enhanced quality of life through personalized knowledge. She works with individuals, business corporations and medical practices to increase productivity, prevent burnout and disease manifestation, all while living authentically with purpose.  Her motto is: Awaken.
