Episode 201: Beware the Krampus (Krampusnacht)

The holidays have begun with feelings of cheer and good tidings. Yet, there are times when some bad behavior may slip in your season’s greetings. In that case, one must be aware of Krampus as celebrate Krampusnacht (Krampus night) on December 5th. Krampus is a mythical creature of scary proportions: a demonic, goat-like head with curly horns and a hairy body that unkept and scraggly. They are known to go after naughty children and swat them with a bundle of twigs. While Santa may leave presents, Krampus may take those presents away and replace them a pile of coal or a rod. For this week’s episode, we’re playing tracks from video games that feature Krampus: a goat-like creature that roams a starving world, an annoying creature that appears only their the Frost Moon, and a group that exhibits certain traits of Krampus.
