Amazon just announced a major change to its commercial liability insurance requirements for sellers, and it takes effect November 2nd, 2026. In the past you could wait to get insurance until you hit $10,000 in sales in a month. Under the new rule, if you sell products in certain enhanced-safety categories, you'll need coverage regardless of your sales volume, even on day one, even on $1 of sales.
