Episode 224: Donkey, Old and Gray (World Donkey Day)

from RE-VGM

Today’s episode is going to… the donkey?! Actually, today is World Donkey Day, in honor of that beast of burden and perceived to be one of the most stubborn animals. It was created by Dr. Abdul Raziq Kakar who was studying desert animals. He wondered why there was no celebration of this animal, known for their resilience and their ability to bear lots of weight while moving nimbly across various terrain. In addition, they can graze on overgrown vegetation, great for combating wild fires. For this week’s episode, we’re playing tracks from video games that feature donkeys: A Old Western gang member trying to retire peacefully, an Egyptian warrior out for revenge, and an open world of survival. With each original track, there’s also a cover or remix that follows. Settle in and have a ride on a burro…   “World Donkey Day” Donkey (Red Dead Redemption 2) Donkey (Assassin’s Creed fandom) Donkey (Minecraft Wiki)     Track Listing “Cruel World” – [Red Dead Redemption II] – composed by Willie Nelson “Cruel Cruel World (Cateek Cover) || Red Dead Redemption 2” – covered by Cateek “Main Theme” – [Assassin’s Creed Origins] – composed by Sarah Schachner “Donkey Riding” – [Assassin’s Creed Rogue] – composed by Sean Dagher, Nils Brown, Clayton Kennedy, David Tinervia, David Cossage; from the album “Assassin’s Creed Rogue Game Soundtrack: Sea Shanty Edition” “Assassin’s Creed Origin Main Theme Rock Version Cover” – covered by Bader Nana “Aria Math” – [Minecraft] – composed by C418 “C418 – Aria Math | Orchestral Minecraft Remix” – remixed by Technotech   YouTube playlist Discord channel   Source
