Collegiate Basketball/Head Men’s Basketball Coach Mount Vernon Nazarene University, Mount Vernon, Ohio 2009-2014 Have led the men’s basketball team to the most victories in the first two years as the head coach than anyone else in 42 years of the program. Through first four years collected the third most wins in program history. I had to revamp our program from the inside-out by recruiting high quality individuals that desire to pursue excellence. I believe in the value of great expectations and a dedication to discipline. My teams have shown excellence in the classroom as well as on the court. In my five years at MVNU my entire team GPA was 3.08, 3.25, 3.33, 3.42 and 3.18 respectively. Our ability to fundraise and grow within our community and surrounding state has been a positive influence in the growth and development on our campus. So much so that a donor gave a significant gift for the addition of a state-of-the-art basketball arena.
