Episode 230 - Why It’s on Us, Mums, to Show Our Daughters What’s Possible

This week’s episode was inspired by the Women in Sport #TimeTogether campaign and their latest report, Active Women, Healthy Lives.I’ve been thinking a lot about the role we play as mums, not just cheering from the sidelines, but showing our daughters what’s possible when we make time to move, to play, and to look after ourselves.In this episode, I talk about why it’s on us to be the example.To show that netball doesn’t stop after school, after kids, or after 40.We can still play, lift, run, and thrive and when our daughters see that, they learn that sport is something you grow with, not out of.We’ll chat about the barriers women face when it comes to staying active, why strength training matters more than ever, and how we can make #TimeTogether more than a hashtag.Because when we keep playing, our daughters keep believing.
