Episode 24 - What do I do on Halloween?

When you are a follower of Jesus, a dark celebration like what happens on October 31st presents a quandary of what to do...  In this episode, Andrew tells about his experiences with Halloween through the decades in Chico and offers three suggestions on how we might choose to spend our time and influence on a night marked with drunkenness, darkness and bad behavior.  Some biblical principles that undergird this podcast:   We are called away from loving the world & the things of this world (1 John 2:15) We are called to shine the light of Jesus in dark places (Matt. 5:16) We are to come in the opposite spirit of the world (Rom. 12:21; 2 Tim. 1:7; 1 Jn. 4:4) We are called to love one another, it is what sets Jesus followers apart (Jn. 13:34-35)
