This weeks guest is the amazing Amber Van Denzen of Attaboy Animal Care in Lakeland Florida. Very entrepreneurial from a young age, Amber started doing pet sitting jobs as a teenager for her neighbours, before moving on to training as a vet tech after highschool.  She had dreams of moving further into the vetrinary world but struggles with science (in particular chemistry, which I can totally identify with!) which meant she switched to equine management.  Then she discovered she was alergic to horse which meant she went back to vet teching, which was rewarding, but incredinbly tiring and underpaid.  A chance conversation with a friend let to her starting up a pet care business, which she built around her vet tech role.  She did a stint working with the Girl Scouts before going full time in building Atta Boy Pet Care.  Amber shares the ups and downs of scaling up a thriving pet business, and the challenges of building a business around being a wife and mother.  You'll discover; How a major rebrand caused her business to double in size.  Why she switched from IC's to employees to make the business more sustainable And she shares a day in the life of running a thriving pet care business.
