Episode 246 - Crawler Crane Calamity at Cement Plant

In this episode, I share an article about a large crawler crane that was being used to install pre-assembled metal wall framing at a cement plant. The taglines used to guide the wall were too short and they men had to let go. The wind turned the piece and they couldn’t get it lined up. The boom operator extended the boom, increasing the radius causing it to collapse and cause massive property damage.
