In an odd sort of way, the first season of Ted Lasso is more Empire Strikes Back. Most everyone agrees that it’s a solid banger all the way through and in spite of ending on a downer, there’s still the hope of what’s to come. So as we head into season two this week, I suppose this is either A New Hope or perhaps Revenge of the Sith, depending on where you stand with regards to the prominence of Nate the Great to the overall plot.
