Episode #256: Be At the Head of Your Table

from Tea Time w/Amie & Bev · host Amie Wade

When you owe money, you're not in charge - your creditors are. They're the ones calling the shots, setting the terms, and deciding what you owe and when. In that setup, you're not at the head of your financial table. You're a guest at theirs.  Blaming the wealthy or resenting their success won't change your balance sheet. It won’t lower your debt or grow your income. Complaining is easy. Changing your financial habits? That’s hard - but it’s also where the power is.  If you want to be the one in control, you need to learn from those who already are. People who’ve built and kept wealth aren’t your enemies. They’re your teachers - if you’re willing to study. Learn how they save, invest, and prioritize.  Financial power comes from ownership, responsibility, and discipline. Not from anger, envy, or waiting for the system to change.  If someone else is at the head of your table, it’s time to shift the balance. Get out of debt. Build an emergency fund. Invest with purpose. That’s how you reclaim your seat - and lead your financial life on your terms.  May this conversation be beneficial to your life journey. Many blessings!  Connect with us on Facebook ~Group: Amie & Bev CommunityPage: Amie Wade - Emotional Resiliency Coach
