World History and The Mystery of History SeriesIt’s important for us to know history, to learn from history and be inspired by history.  And as believers, isn’t God’s word a historical account?   History doesn’t need to be boring nor does teaching history ultimately have to be ineffective.  There are ways to develop a child’s interest in history and as a homeschool parent, you can even teach it without a background or knowledge of history yourself.  Our guest today, Linda Lacour Hobar, author of the Mystery of History series, a chonological, Christian, complete world history for all ages, is going to talk to us a little today about the importance of world history, developing our child’s interest in history and teaching history.Linda Lacour Hobar, author of The Mystery of History, is a self-proclaimed “people-person” and a follower of Jesus Christ.  As a result of homeschooling her children, and serving the Lord as a missionary, she discovered a genuine love for the stories, the dramas, and the people that have shaped world history by the hand of God.
