Dr. El Brown is a distinguished author, professor, and thought leader with a diverse career. From teaching young children in the United States, Japan, and South Korea to founding the global initiative KinderJam, she has made a significant impact on families in 11 countries and 16 states. Her commitment to well-being earned her recognition, including invitations to the White House, appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show and the Dr. Oz Show, and the prestigious title of the 2012 Army Spouse of the Year. Dr. El holds a Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education/Early Childhood Special Education, focusing on reconceptualizing support systems for mothers, particularly those raising children with disabilities. Currently, her company, KinderJam, operates a preschool, summer camp programs for Fairfax County, as well as enrichment classes for military families in California. Dr. El passionately dedicates her time to empower service providers and families. As a proud Head Start alumna, her most cherished role is being the mother of SuperDuperYoungMan (SDYM), her college-bound teenage son on the autism spectrum.
