Episode 29: My Yoga Journey

from Form, Function and Flow Lab with Dr. Kate · host Dr. Kate Eckert

In this week’s episode of Form, Function, and Flow Lab, I wanted to talk about my yoga journey. I did not always love yoga because I could not sit still, but I started liking it after grad school. I like it better now because I know more about it. I will take you through my yoga journey in hopes of inspiring you to get into this kind of movement and understand more about the different types of yoga.Episode highlights: [0:36] Introduction to the topic [3:08] How my yoga journey began [10:41] What I see with patients who practice Ashtanga yoga   [12:12] What yoga in general seems to lack [14:32] Incorporating mobility classes when I teach yoga [16:37] Conclusion   If you have any questions, you can drop it in the comment section or you can send me a message through Facebook or Instagram. I’d be happy to do another podcast about your questions. Also, if you want me to talk about something specific, let me know! You can also check my TikTok account as I use the platform to educate viewers about movement, chiropractic education, yoga, pregnancy, and more!  Thank you for listening and see you next week!
