Episode 30: Cosmic Laughter in the Psychedelic Realm (feat. Grant Thomas)

from This One Time On Psychedelics · host Ryan Sprague

Something I’ve discovered within my psychedelic experiences is that what we are ultimately experiencing is the moving of energies through our minds, bodies & spirits. This being said, many times I have found myself judging myself for my wanting to move, stretch or even have a full on sprint during a ceremony. Once I was able to break through that & realize that when I am craving physical movement, to dive into that & allow the energies within me to be moved, I experienced an immense sense of freedom. On this weeks episode of the show, we chat with a dear friend & brother of mine who is no stranger to expressing himself through his movement practice, especially while interacting with plant medicines. What he has taught me is not only how integral it is to listen to our bodies calls to move, but also how to have more FUN in my movement practice while interacting with these medicines without self judgement. My goal for this episode is to allow the conversation, laughs & movement between us to inspire all of YOU to re-imagine how you are viewing the movement of energy within you so that you can each find the same renewed sense of freedom that him & I have found within our movement & lives as a whole. This episode was produced  at the Mass Music Radio Station in Quincy, Massachusetts.https://www.highlyoptimized.com@therealryansprague
