Episode 301: Coach Drew Burris (K-5 Elementary PE Teacher at Ridge view Elementary School in Warrensburg, MO) ("Creativity in Designing PE Activities")

Drew is in his 11th year of teaching Physical Education. He is teaching K-5 PE at Ridge View Elementary School in Warrensburg, MO.  He has coached high school soccer for eight years, middle school basketball for six years, middle school track, 2d grade soccer, and also 3rd/4th grade basketball. He has  been published on PE Central, published in the Great Activities Magazine, published in the G.A.M.E.S. Gazette Book, presented at MOSHAPE, won the 2015 Star of the Classroom, won the 2016 CTA EOY, won the MOSHAPE 2018 & 2021 West Central District Elementary Physical Education TOY, won the MOSHAPE 2020 Presidential Recognition, won 2021 Best of the Burg TOY, and won MOSHAPE 2021 Elementary Physical Education TOY. he received his Bachelor of Science from the University or Central Missouri (UCM) in 2009 and received his Master in Kinesiology with the concentration in Pedagogy in 2015, also from UCM.  He has  two beautiful daughters Ellie and Mackenzie and a beautiful wife, Brooke. He loves playing and watching sports. He is a huge nerd when it comes to technology, comics, or any type of movies. He is  a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan. @project_physed [email protected]
