Episode #317: The Life Waiting Beyond Fear

from Tea Time w/Amie & Bev · host Amie Wade

There comes a point in life where staying the same becomes more uncomfortable than the possibility of change. Yet so many people continue playing small, not because they lack talent, intelligence, or purpose, but because fear quietly convinces them to shrink.  Fear of judgment whispers, “What will people think?”Fear of criticism asks, “What if I fail?”And sometimes, the most hidden fear of all asks, “What if I actually succeed?”  Because success changes things. It asks you to become visible. To take responsibility for your gifts. To outgrow old versions of yourself and sometimes even outgrow environments that once felt safe.  So instead of stepping forward, many people stay stuck in routines, relationships, jobs, and identities that no longer fit. Not because they’re happy there, but because familiarity can feel safer than possibility.  But growth rarely happens inside the comfort zone. Life expands when you give yourself permission to try, explore, and evolve. A new routine, a new dream, a new chapter, or even one brave decision can completely shift the direction of your life.  A powerful question to ask yourself is:“Who am I not to?” Who am I not to pursue the idea?Who am I not to heal?Who am I not to begin again?  Sometimes the greatest risk is spending your entire life never discovering what could have been possible if you had simply believed you were worthy of more.  May this conversation be beneficial to your life journey.
