Send us Fan MailIn this compelling episode of Las Locas Chronicles, Episode 32 dives deep into the heart of true obedience. Partial obedience is still disobedience, a reminder that being half-way in is still half-way out. True obedience means going all in, even when it’s uncomfortable. Our message today doesn’t sugarcoat the reality—obedience isn’t always comfortable. It often requires sacrifice, courage, and unwavering trust. We explore how biblical women like Esther and Ruth exemplified this fearless submission to God's call—choosing obedience over ease, and courage over comfort.Together, we’ll unpack how these obstacles can derail us, and how Esther's bravery and Ruth's loyalty teach us to let go of fear, pride, and self-will—and choose full abandonment to God’s leading. Why This Episode Matters-It’s a call to wholehearted faith—no half measures, no backup plans.-It’s honest and relatable—we all wrestle with fear, pride, and busyness.-It’s rooted in scripture and real-life faith—Esther and Ruth embody the beauty of trusting God, even when it’s risky.Pastor Jessica’s sermon “All In, Part 2” offers actionable steps to move beyond partial obedience. https://www.youtube.com/live/F0mTZRXf...Patti Burris’s article gives us clarity on what holds us back—and how to overcome it.https://pattiburris.com/tag/obstacles...#LocasChronicles #Episode32 #AllIn #Obedience #FaithOverFear #WomenOfFaith #EstherObeyed #RuthObeyed #FaithJourney #GodsCall #WalkInObedience #TrustGod #Disobedience #KingdomWomen #FaithPodcast #ChristianWomen #SpiritualGrowth #JesusFirst #FaithOverComfort #ObedienceOverConvenience

C.S. Lewis's The Last Battle St. Philip's Church: Charleston, SC Come join us on Wednesday nights as we explore the riches of C.S. Lewis’s marvelous book The Last Battle, which is the last of The Chronicles of Narnia. It is a remarkable book on multiple levels and was awarded the Carnegie Medal back in the 1950s when it was first published. The Last Battle has some themes in common with The Great Divorce and That Hideous Strength that will make it an excellent follow-up to those two books, and like them, it has some remarkable resonance with things going on in today’s culture. It is a book that is both theologically rich and poignantly beautiful in its writing, and it can help equip us to live boldly for Christ in a culture that has lost its way. (Although this book is the last of The Chronicles of Narnia, it can stand on its own and it is not necessary to have read the other books for this class.)
