When respect is missing, love cannot function the way Scripture intends.Another serious warning sign is manipulation and control. This often hides behind concern, spirituality, or “wanting what’s best for you,” but it uses guilt, fear, or pressure to get compliance. God leads through truth and freedom, not coercion.
