Episode 32: Supersonic executive airlift is a conglomeration of the willing

This week we had a chance to chat with the Program Executive Officer for AFLCMC's Presidential and Executive Airlift Directorate Brig. Gen. Ryan Britton, about his organization's effort to bring supersonic airlift to the Air Force. When realized supersonic airlift will allow moving the nation's senior leaders and military teams to where they need to be twice as fast as is currently capable. Britton explains that the key to the effort is in partnering with small business enterprises and leveraging commercial investment and commercial derivative technologies. By adding to the collective knowledge base in supersonic, and eventually hypersonic, airlift Britton is convinced the effort will provide benefits across every organization in the center as well across the entire Department of Defense.
