Martina Reaves, author of the Memoir: I'm Still Here shares her life story on this episode. From a rocky marriage in the 1970s in San Francisco to going to law school and coming out in the 1980s.  She went through IVF in a time when few lesbian couples did so, left the law to become an author and all while fighting two cancer diagnoses.  Her 2nd battle, tongue cancer, was the time the doctors gave her a terminal diagnosis.  She is still alive almost a decade later but describes how confusing the limbo between life and death can be.  Hers is a fascinating life story!
