Episode 35: Breathing Life & Meaning Into Our Plant Medicine Experiences (feat. Bill Burnett)

from This One Time On Psychedelics · host Ryan Sprague

Within the ever expanding popularity of plant medicines & psychedelics alike, we often hear about how important it is to be able to integrate these experiences if we wish to experience lasting change beyond the “peak” experience/ceremony itself. Without this integration work, we will ultimately have an incredible experience that, similar to a dream, will begin to fade away as our old programs & patterns take over. From my own personal experience, one of the most powerful integration practices I take part in is that of daily breath work. Many times we think of integration as coaching, therapy or another modality of that sort & while those are absolutely amazing, we don’t always have the access necessary to employ those practices into our daily lives. Our breath, however, is only an inhale away &, historically speaking, has been one of the most powerful self awareness & self healing gaining modalities that humans have connected with since the dawn of time. Joining us today on the show is a master in the art form of breath work & is a true wizard in the ways in which he teaches this form within both his online breath work certification, Inflaux, where practitioners can become certified in the unique way he teaches breath work as well as his Breathwork App, BreathCAST, in which individuals looking to begin their breathwork routine & take their well-being to new heights can do so from where ever they are in the world, at any time. If all of this wasn’t enough, he also shares each of our love & reverence for what plant medicines & psychedelics can bring forth into our lives when used intentionally & I must say I am beyond excited to dive into all of these subjects & more with him! This episode is jam packed with useful information that will empower you, inspire you & drop you into the child like curiosity regarding the vast amount of possibilities & mysteries within the scope of the human experience. This episode was produced by Mazel Tov Media in Quincy, Massachusetts.https://www.highlyoptimized.com@therealryansprague
