A very different kind of brilliance befell the Circuit of the Americas for Round 4 of the MotoGP World Championship. Marc Marquez, the heavy favourite, got hit with a technical gremlin off the line and fell to the back. So of course he still finished 6th, just 6 seconds off the win.
