Episode 36 Interview With Mark Miner

In this episode Colleen and Lisa interview Mark, a man in long term recovery from alcohol and drug addiction.  Mark shares how his childhood misplaced responsibility for the success or lack thereof in his parents marriage led him into a life of drug and alcohol addiction at the young age of 17.  He describes his experiences of serving repeated prison sentences, attempting several time to fix "his problem" on his own, and his final realization that he needed the power of God found in the 12 steps.  Mark's story powerfully demonstrates that God is there with us every step of the way.  He will never give up on us no matter how many times we may have given up on Him.  Listeners will be moved by the tender experiences and beautiful truths that Mark shares.
