Maz Compton began her radio career in 2001 producing Merrick & Rosso (Merrick Watts and Tim Ross). Three years later she landed her dream job with MTV, where she stayed for five years anchoring red carpet broadcasts and hosting its flagship show, Total Request Live. She won the ASTRA for most popular female presenter in 2008. She then moved back to Nova 969, where she co-hosted Launchpad with James Kerley. She then hosted The Dan & Maz Show with Dan Debuf, which ran in breakfast (on Nova Adelaide in 2011-2012), drive (Fox Melbourne 2013-2014), breakfast (on 2Dayfm Sydney) and national drive (on SCA 2015). In 2016, Max launched Be, her own digital interview series on Yahoo 7. In 2017 she published her first book, UnEdited, and launched a world first breakfast show concept, Alt-breakfast, which streams live from Facebook.
