Mitch Baruchowitz, a seasoned entrepreneur and investor, is the principal owner of the Westchester Soccer Club, a United Soccer League (USL) League One franchise set to debut in 2025. A resident of Rye, New York, Baruchowitz has been instrumental in bringing professional soccer to Westchester County, aiming to harness the region's rich soccer culture and provide a platform for local talent. Under his leadership, the club has secured a partnership with MSG Networks to broadcast its inaugural season, ensuring extensive coverage for fans.   Beyond his involvement in soccer, Baruchowitz has an extensive background in finance and law, with over two decades of experience in highly regulated industries. He co-founded Merida Capital Holdings, a private equity firm focused on the cannabis industry, where he serves as Managing Partner and Investment Committee Chair. A 1996 graduate of Brandeis University, Baruchowitz was an accomplished two-sport athlete during his college years.
