Episode 36: Transylvanian Vampire in Rome

At long last, we’re starting something new! On this season of Literary Demerit we’ll be covering Kelly the Roman Warrior, a story by Fanfiction.net user KingAurthr2. This is a bit of an odd one; it’s written like a trollfic but still retains a tone of charming sincerity, and despite being posted to a fanfiction website, it’s not really based on any one existing media property, though characters from pop culture make an appearance (e.g. Godzilla is there). KingAurthr2 has also written several other fanfics, most of which are pretty short, so we decided to take a look at two others in our closing segment. Content warnings: aside from some cartoon violence, this story is refreshingly wholesome.
