Episode #360: 2022 IndyCar Grand Prix of Alabama Report

IndyCar returned for Round 4 of the 2022 Season, and we had to stand back for fireworks at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama, as we had a prime slab of beef to deal with!First and foremost, the winner. Pato O'Ward, Mr Fast Hands, was superb in his final stint, passing Rinus on cold tyres round the outside of Charlotte's Web, and would hold off a fast charging Palou to take his first win of 2022. But this was overshadowed by the constant talk regarding his future. Is he staying? Is he staying but heading to F1? Is there a new deal coming? We break it all down with RJ, who was in the press conference room as it all broke down!We also talked about a heated clash between Romain Grosjean and Graham Rahal. Grosjean left the Charlotte's Web with 2 "Bumps" on Rahal on the exit that was nonconsequential. But Rahal lost his rag with the Frenchman, accusing him of doing it on purpose. He'd even go onto suggest there might be retaliation and had half the paddock agrreeing with him? Who was right? Why was there such beef? And did we really go OTT with it?We also talk more struggles for Colton Herta in the midfield as well as Josef Newgarden's 3-stopper going to crap as the cautions screwed the more aggressive runners.
