Episode 37: Siobhán Callaghan
from Who Art Thou?
Welcome to a new episode of the Who Art Thou? podcast!Today I will be chatting with Siobhán Callaghan, an actor in both stage and screen and also a writer. Some of her roles include Cadlín in the Netflix series ‘Vikings: Valhalla’ and Tar in ‘Dirty Talk’ as well as preforming for the stage in productions such as ‘Short Stories and Long Tails’ directed by Andy Crook for Longford County Council, ‘Made From Paper’ directed by Nessa Matthews for Scene & Heard.Recently she wrote and starred in her own short film, ‘Quicksand’, which will be out later this year. I’ve seen some scenes from it and it really does look absolutely phenomenal. We will be chatting about her career and a load of other topics such as our love of Ari Aster’s work, Martin McDonnagh, separating the art from the artist and a bunch of other stuff!First time having an actor on the podcast, was really fun to pick Siobhán’s brain about Stage and Screen, I hope you’s enjoy the episode as much as I did recording it! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
